Chickens The chickens were brought to All Creatures after one of Florida's many recent hurricanes. The birds were found wandering around in traffic and looking completely lost and dazed. They were very thin and their feathers were sparse. Now they wander the grounds of the sanctuary, preening and pecking for treats. Roosters One of the two roosters at All Creatures was found living in deplorable conditions along with a number of other animals. We took in the rooster, and helped find homes for the other animals. The other rooster was brought to the sanctuary after a hurricane. He was close to death, but now is thriving.
